Just as important as first aid is cleanliness, keeping yourself and your clothes clean is the first step to fighting illness when abroad and making sure people will sit next to you in the pub after 4 days out in GlenCoe. Also extremely handy is a quick drying, small packing towel. Takes up much less space than a conventional towel whilst retaining all the function, even drying faster than a regular towel.
